EyeAI is based on OpenAIs GPT-4-Vision modle and allows visually impaired or blind people to recognise objects/subjects via mobile camera, followed by a playback. The app uses OpenAI API keys, which are essentially a combination of a username and password i one alphanumerical string. users need to obtain the API keys at OpenAi (platform.openAI.com) then insert the keys into input box and click "Set API Keys" button. This will trigger phones camera. Tapping anywhere on the camera screen (but not in the bottom tab bar or a header) will take image and send it to GPT-4-vision model for processing. The result will be a text shortly followed by a playback in males synthetic voice.
